I love shopping at Forever 21. I know, I am TOTALLY like 21 years old, PLUS 10 years….but hey, the store itself makes me feel young. The clothes are trendy, the music is loud, the price is right, and the threads are cute. Don’t worry, you’ll never find me wearing something that is not age appropriate or a little hoochie…ok, I lie about the hoochie part, but I’ll stick to the age appropriate part of the deal!
Another way of feeling young and youthful again is getting these wonderful opportunities to photograph High Schoolers! It’s a major flashback to my past as a teenager and again, I have to put myself in check and remind myself that I am a mom of two who drives a minivan…yes…a mom van. I had SUCH a fun time with Jessica who is an absolute beauty! I am not sure how many times I told her how beautiful she was, or kept saying to my husband “I can’t get over how beautiful she is”, or during the editing thinking, “Gosh, she is SO pretty!” So, if you haven’t figured it out yet, she is beautiful! In addition, she has such a heart of gold and such a sweet personality. She wants to be a photographer and I believe that she will go far in pursuing her passion. She knows how to work the camera which will definitely translate when she is behind the camera. My camera LOVED her! She is a natural in front of the camera….I mean…I only had 1 partially closed eyes out of the WHOLE session. That is a record that I dare anyone to break! Thank you so much Jessica for such a wonderful opportunity and for your openness to try anything out…even get eaten alive by mosquitoes!
